The Alien X is the sixth generation of the micro cam
that obtained its first patent in 1986, in Colorado (US).
It retains its original character, with a version that
has been improved in terms of performance and finishes.

Cams with X-grip texture
Improves the grip of the cams during the first times it is used. This texture allows friction without deforming the shape of the cams
Never before has been so versatile
Sizes 3/4 (yellow), 7/8 (grey) and 1 (red) can work as passive anchors with a load of up to 5 kN.
Minimise your mistakes
There is now 3 mm more length between the puller and the cams. It allows the micro cam to be placed deeper in the cracks and the extraction is easier and faster. The length of the webbing has been increased by 1 cm.

The puller is more ergonomic and re-sized. The redesign of the puller has made the Alien X into a micro cam that is easy and quick to manipulate, whether during its placement or extraction. As well as this, it is now easier to use while wearing gloves.

Improves maneuverability inside the smallest cracks. The width of the puller is smaller than the closed cams.
Faithful
to its origins
The Alien X retains its original character and is faithful to the first patent. It is a lightweight and compact piece, almost imperceptible in the gear loops of the harness and backpack. Its great flexibility absorbs rope movements, preventing the cams from shifting once placed. The cam geometry design has been improved while maintaining the color coding for sizes that have become a reference in climbing reviews. All Alien X units are handcrafted in Barcelona.
