Description:

The Puput Wide quickdraw is ideal for wall climbing, designed to comfortably carabiner the plate thanks to its characteristic nose. Its large size offers very comfortable manoeuvrability. With a large friction zone, it extends the life of the rope and carabiner.

The Wide version is distinguished by its 25 mm wide polyamide draw, which facilitates a comfortable hand grip, ideal for projecting and lead climbing. Its greater width also prevents the set from twisting once placed on the wall. Additionally, the inner rubber ensures that the rope carabiner stays firmly in place. The quickdraw is available in 3 lengths: 12 cm, 18 cm, and 24 cm.

The Puput is designed for intensive use in all types of wall activities. The name Puput refers to the Upupa epops bird, which also has a characteristic nose that inspired our carabiner.

Carabinering is more fluid and precise than ever

• Conical nose: Its pointed conical nose makes it easy to insert the carabiner into plates, pins or other connecting elements precisely and fluidly without snagging on any curve of the carabiner. At the same time, this geometry allows for the track to be dismantled with great ease.
• Snagfree: The lower part of the nose is softened to facilitate the manoeuvre of unsnagging the plate and the rope.
• Keylock: Its Keylock closure prevents possible snagging of the carabiner on the rope or plate.
• Versatile size: Its proportions offer great manoeuvrability for all types of situations on the wall. With 100 mm high, 64 mm wide, and 24 mm and 26 mm opening range in its straight and curved versions respectively. Made of 7075 aluminium.

• Large contact area: Its 10.5 mm width allows the rope to be worked over a larger radius. This extends the useful life of both elements, rope and carabiner.
• Comfortable grip zone: The polyamide draw offers an ideal width for a comfortable grip during projecting and lead climbing.
• No twist in the draw: Thanks to its width of 16 mm, as well as its rigidity, the draw and the carabiner remain twist-free once installed on the wall, avoiding problems caused by the movement of the rope.
• No rotation of the carabiner: Its discreet rubber firmly holds the carabiner on the rope, avoiding any unwanted movement and facilitating the attachment of the carabiner.
• Polyamide quickdraw: Made with Polyamide, the same material as dynamic climbing ropes. A very resistant material to extend the useful life of the set.
• Resistance: Complying with the EN 12275 standard, its resistances are 22 kN vertically, 8 kN horizontally, and 8 kN vertically with the gate open.
