The Ferratum Cinchless by Fixe redefines safety and comfort on via ferratas. Its innovative Cinchless system, patented by Fixe, connects the lanyard to the harness without compressing it, reducing the pendulum effect and keeping the belay loop free for greater versatility.

More compact and lightweight, it makes maneuvering easier and provides greater comfort when tackling any via ferrata, adventure park, or training course.

Main advantages

• Does not constrict the harness Unlike traditional lanyards, the Cinchless system connects directly to the tie-in points (waist and leg loops) instead of the belay loop. This avoids harness compression in case of a fall, improving comfort and reducing the risk of hip injury.
• Reduces pendulum effect By minimizing the distance between the lanyard and the harness, unnecessary swinging is eliminated, offering better stability and comfort during activity.
• Free belay loop The belay loop remains completely available to attach other devices, such as the Manso, or perform maneuvers without interference.

Optimized energy absorption system

The Ferratum Cinchless was designed to offer a more natural and ergonomic fit. Its lighter and more compact energy absorber reduces the volume by 38% compared to previous versions, while also lowering the weight from 180.5 g to just 123.9 g. This was made possible thanks to a more squared design and the use of HMPE as the main material.

Unmatched comfort

Its elastic arms made of PES (polyester) offer a wide range of movement, from 75 cm retracted to 128 cm fully extended.

Equipped with aluminum carabiners with color-differentiated gates for more intuitive control during use.

Its double-locking system, specifically designed for via ferrata, allows for safe and easy opening.
