The Puput Wire quickdraw is the lightest model in the entire Puput family. It features two Puput Wire carabiners —a grey one on top and a green one on the bottom— delivering maximum smoothness during clipping and a significant reduction in total weight. Its clean construction avoids cavities where dirt or ice could accumulate, ensuring reliable performance even in cold or humid environments.
The polyamide sling offers the same stability, stiffness and durability found throughout the Puput range, making it ideal for fast sport climbs, long approaches and routes where every gram counts. It is available in 4 lengths: 12 cm, 18 cm, 24 cm and 35 cm.

The name Puput refers to the Catalan bird “Upupa epops”, whose distinctive beak inspired the shape of our carabiner.
The body of the Puput carabiner is shared across all versions —Wire and classic— featuring identical geometry that provides handling precision, control and balance.

LIGHTNESS AND FLUENCY
Its wire gate reduces inertia and provides more dynamic handling. The lower gate mass reduces the possibility of involuntary opening caused by vibration or impact, offering direct and agile clipping in all types of situations.
Conical nose
Its pointed conical nose facilitates precise and smooth insertion of the carabiner into hangers, pitons or other connection points without catching on any curve of the carabiner.
Versatile size
Its proportions provide excellent handling for all types of situations on the wall. Measuring 100 mm in height and 64 mm in width, with a gate opening of 24 mm and 26 mm in the straight and bent versions respectively. Manufactured from 7075 aluminium.
Rigidity
The sling’s triple-layer structure provides extra rigidity, preventing any twisting and keeping the carabiners always oriented in their original position.
Polyamide sling
Made from the same material as dynamic climbing ropes: polyamide. A highly resistant material that extends the lifespan of the entire system.

The lower carabiner is secured with angled stitching that adapts to its shape and keeps it always in place.
Strength
Complying with EN 12275, its strength ratings are 22 kN along the major axis, 8 kN along the minor axis and 8 kN along the major axis with the gate open.
