Ferratum Cinchless Restloop

The first via ferrata energy absorber featuring the Cinchless system and an integrated rest loop (Restloop): a more natural, direct and versatile connection.

The Ferratum Cinchless Restloop by Fixe redefines safety and comfort on via ferratas. Its innovative Cinchless system, patented by Fixe, connects the energy absorber to the harness without compressing it, reducing the pendulum effect and keeping the belay loop free for greater versatility.

It also includes an integrated rest loop (Restloop), designed to let the user clip in and rest comfortably and safely, especially on long routes or demanding sections.

More compact and lighter, it makes manoeuvres easier and provides greater comfort to tackle any via ferrata, adventure parks or structures.

Main advantages

• Does not constrict the harness
  Unlike traditional systems, Cinchless connects directly to the tie-in points (waist and leg loops) instead of the belay loop. This prevents harness compression in a fall, improving comfort and reducing the risk of hip injuries.
• Avoids the pendulum effect
  By minimising the distance between the energy absorber and the harness, unnecessary swinging created by other systems is eliminated. This provides greater stability and comfort during use.
• Free belay loop
  The belay loop remains completely available to attach other devices, such as the Manso, or to perform manoeuvres without interference.
• Integrated rest loop (Restloop)
  Allows the user to clip temporarily to the lifeline to rest on long or technical sections. It provides an additional support point that helps manage effort and adds peace of mind on demanding routes.

Optimised energy absorption system

The Ferratum Cinchless Restloop has been designed to offer a more natural and ergonomic fit. Its lighter, more compact absorber reduces volume by 38% compared to its predecessors, and also cuts weight from 180.5 g to just 123.9 g. This has been achieved thanks to a squarer design and the use of HMPE as the main material.

The comfort you already know

Its elastic arms made from PES (polyester) cover a wide range, from 75 cm retracted to 128 cm fully extended.

Its double-action locking system, designed specifically for via ferrata, allows easy and secure opening.
