Fixe’s range of energy dissipators for via ferrata has been updated with the launch of the renewed Ferratum and Ferratum Pro. Via ferrata is an activity which has seen considerable growth in recent years in the sports and outdoor activities sector. As a result of this demand, Fixe has decided to redesign its two models for via ferrata, with a new design and technical features.
Both the Ferratum and the Ferratum Pro have carabiners made of aluminium with different coloured gates. This avoids possible errors in transitions from one anchor line to another. Another common feature in both models that facilitates the progression and manipulation of the kit is the ergonomics of the carabiners.

Carabiners in two colors
Both the Ferratum and the Ferratum Pro have carabiners made of aluminium with different coloured gates. This avoids possible errors in transitions from one anchor line to another.

Transport bag

Rest Loop
This kit has a rest loop that allows you to rest comfortably on the longest and most complicated via ferrata crossings (carabiner included).
Elastic Ventral Strap
On the other hand, the Ferratum Pro anchor strap is made with an elastic part, making the energy dissipator closer to the harness. This means it is more comfortable and avoids generating the typical pendulum effect.
Dissipative bag that allows you to check its interior.
Its compact dissipative bag makes it easy to transport and manipulate the set. The protective bag of the dissipative strap is closed with velcro, which allows it to be opened to ensure that the tape is in good condition, thus facilitating a periodic check.
